Super-Charging your Press Releases with SEO Best Practices is as easy as pie if you stick to tried and true best practices. I was recently reminded of the effectiveness of the Press Release as a traffic-driving tool so I thought I would take a moment to write some quick tips on how to effectively build a Press Release that provides ample opportunity for readers to first find it, and second, click through to your website to consume more relevant content.

1. Seed the Press Release title with Keywords – Step 1 in ensuring your Press Release is at least in the conversation when people search the topic.

2. Pay Attention to Keyword Density – Consider Keyword Density when building copy and using Keywords. Too many Keyword instances in a small sample of copy could be interpreted as Keyword stacking. Too little Keyword instances in a large sample of copy dilutes the effectiveness of Keywords. Target 1 or 2 Keywords per page and use a free Keyword Density tool like Keyword Density Analyzer. Find a happy medium for Keyword use and search engine spiders will index your Press Release and hopefully get you found on SERPs for that topic.

3. Deep Linking – Link important relevant Keywords to deep relevant pages on your company’s website and NOT simply to your home page. If these deep relevant pages do not exist for this particular topic consider creating a landing page on your site to attract additional site traffic but be certain to match up Visitor expectations for the landing page based on the keyword it is linked to.

4. Your Press Release is a Landing Page – Your mindset approach to Press Releases should mirror the typical approach and goals when creating a Landing Page. Seed your meta-data, page title, and copy with appropriate Keywords. When formatting copy use bold, italics, bullet-points, and short keyword-rich headlines.

One last thing: Use a news wire service, like PR Web or PR Newswire, that allows multimedia content hosting for things like video (YouTube) and photos (Flickr). Incorporate these media formats into your Press Release, strategically, to increase the variety, and hopefully depth, of user engagement, and link back to these authoritative websites (extra SEO points) to super-charge the SEO of your Press Release.

Melville, NY, September 11, 2009 – Prime Visibility, a New York Internet marketing agency, has collected over 1,000 pairs of shoes for the non-profit organization Soles4Souls.

Soles4Souls collects and distributes new and gently worn shoes to people in need in over 125 countries on five continents, including the United States, Honduras, Guatemala, Haiti, Nepal, Iraq, Uganda, Swaziland, Thailand and Peru. Prime Visibility CEO Andrew Hazen initiated the company collection in conjunction with a local elementary school’s shoe drive. In addition to collecting shoes, Prime Visibility will be donating shipping costs so that all shoes collected at both the company headquarters and the school can reach a Sole4Souls warehouse where the organization will prepare the shoes for their final destinations.

Andrew Hazen says, “Prime Visibility is a company that supports a variety of local, national and international causes. Hosting a Soles4Souls shoe drive was a simple way to help people in need around the world. The collection boxes around our office were overflowing! Our team members cleaned out their closets and made our shoe drive a huge success.”

Internet marketing agency, Prime Visibility, is experiencing anything but hard times in this recessional economy.
Melville, NY (PRWEB) September 30, 2009 — Internet marketing agency, Prime Visibility, is experiencing anything but hard times in this recessional economy. To the contrary, new client contracts are being signed every week and the company is experiencing great growth, hiring new team members in Social Media, Account Management and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) departments. Some of the company’s newest accounts include: McGraw-Hill, The NPD Group, Korg, Martin Flyer, Clever Cookie, CAbi, and Health Day News. Andrew S. Hazen, Founder and CEO of Prime Visibility can attribute this expansion to the growing awareness of the value of Internet marketing.

“I will not say that the Search Engine Marketing industry is recession-proof, but at our agency business is booming,” says Hazen. “Internet marketing campaigns including website optimization, Pay Per Click advertising and social media marketing are smart investments for every size business, even in the most challenging economy. All forms of search engine marketing platforms allow for highly measurable results. This means that all successes and failures, and strengths and weaknesses, can be easily measured and quickly adapted to improve the marketing results.”

Prime Visibility has twice been on the Inc’s list of fastest growing companies and ranked by BtoB Magazine as one of the top 20 search marketing firms in the U.S. for the past 6 years. Prime Visibility builds Internet marketing campaigns using best practice Internet marketing strategies to deliver the highest degree of ROI.

Hazen concludes, “The key to our success is having the best team of professionals gathering a wealth of data and making the necessary adjustments to maintain highly successful integrated marketing campaigns for our clients. Together we deliver superior service and our clients are rewarded with a great ROI. I’m thankful for the new understanding of and appreciation for Internet marketing in the business community as an intricate part of every successful marketing plan.”

Melville, NY (BusinessWire) – Prime Visibility (PV) Media Group (pvmediagroup.com) today announced that it has acquired two leading online companies: AdOn Network, which provides innovative contextual and behavioral advertising solutions for advertisers and publishers, and Prime Visibility, a rapidly expanding search engine marketing (SEM) company specializing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and PPC Search Engine Internet Marketing. The two acquisitions marked the formation of PV Media Group, headed by CEO Steve Rosenberg. A veteran studio executive, Rosenberg previously served as president of Universal Domestic Television, the production-distribution unit supplying feature films, first-run and off-network programming to all forms of television throughout the U.S. and Canada, and co-president of Universal Television Distribution, the studio’s international TV arm.

Rosenberg will lead a senior management team that can leverage its experience and relationships in traditional media with the combined company’s ad network and engine optimization search capabilities.

“We will be very opportunistic about putting stakes in all forms of the rapidly expanding interactive sector,” Rosenberg said. “We’re off to a great start by acquiring AdOn Network and Prime Visibility, two leading and complementary online marketing companies that will only get better by offering more services to their customer bases. And with our deep relationships in the traditional media space, we are in a strong position to help enhance their brands’ online presence and drive traffic in a fast-growing online advertising market.”

Chicago-based private equity firm Bridge Investments LLC led the investor group, providing the equity capital to finance the deal and bring together the two highly profitable companies into a single New York-based entity with more than 100 employees. To further drive its success, PV Media Group will eye complementary assets in the future.

Steve Jarmel, a principal at Bridge Investments LLC, commented, “We invested in PV Media Group because of its extraordinary management team, which has a unique vision of the marketplace and the ability to see distinct opportunities that will allow us to capture a large share of the ever-growing online advertising pie.”

According to industry estimates, online ad revenue in the U.S. reached $21.7 billion in 2007, up from $16 billion in 2006. It is projected to grow 24% annually over the next three years to $50.3 billion.

At Universal, Rosenberg oversaw the distribution of a library consisting of more than 40,000 hours of television programming and 5,000 theatrical releases. Additionally, he was involved in numerous TV program launches, as well as mergers and acquisitions that included the studio’s 1997 purchase and integration of talk show giant Multimedia Entertainment and, later, Maury Povich Productions.

Rosenberg also led USA Networks Television Group after its acquisition of Universal’s TV assets in 1998. He was responsible for the successful re-integration of those assets back into Universal in 2002. Two years later, General Electric’s NBC television unit acquired Vivendi Universal Entertainment.

Newly named COO Seth Page is a financial specialist in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital placements for the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. CFO Richard O’Connor, former vice president of finance and operations for Universal Domestic Television, managed the business unit of the domestic TV production-distribution group.

AdOn Network President Steve Armstrong, with more than a decade of experience in fast-growing, innovative technology companies, including PayPal, and Prime Visibility President Andrew Hazen, a leader for more than a decade in the SEO space, will continue to lead their experienced management teams.
