Three businesses from Long Island have been named best practice award finalists for The New York Enterprise Report Small Business Awards, being held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 6:00pm-10:00pm at The Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, NY.
Finalists were selected based on their ability to demonstrate the use of a best practice to generate competitive advantages, revenue profits and/or long-term value in five categories: Human Resources, Leadership, Marketing, Sales and Technology. The winners will be announced at the Awards Gala.
Long Island finalists include: Core Data Center, Inc. of Bethpage, Technology; Prime Visibility, LLC of Melville, Sales; and Zero Gravity Design Group, Inc. of Smithtown, Sales.
“We received a numerous amount of applications from many of the metro areas accomplished small businesses,” said Robert Levin, Editor-in-Chief & Publisher of The New York Enterprise Report. “We are proud to recognize small businesses based on their best practices, something more often associated with larger companies.”
An independent committee made up of leading professionals from each category judged the companies. Nominations were scored based on creativity and uniqueness as well as results. A total of 21 companies from the tri-state area were selected as finalists. Winners will be announced at the awards gala.
