Position Summary
The copywriter writes search-engine friendly web content for a broad spectrum of clients. In addition to web copy, other writing projects may include emails, enewsletters, Pay Per-click ads, online press releases and other jobs as needed.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Write and/or edit clear, concise, compelling copy that meets the goals of the client while adhering to Prime Visibility's guidelines.
- Collaborate with Account Management team to understand the marketing objectives and determine the copy direction
- Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control on all work.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in communications, English, journalism or a related field.
- 2-5 years of copywriting experience.
- Solid ability to write effective copy for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to learn and follow Prime Visibility's standardized SEO writing guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience as an SEO copywriter a plus.
