Pay Per Click Specialist
Position Summary
A PPC Specialist manages ad campaigns in Google, Yahoo, MSN and other smaller engines by selecting keywords to bid on, writing relevant ad copy, selecting the most appropriate landing page and managing bids. The goal of PPC is to drive relevant traffic to a website and track conversion metrics using Omniture. The client's budget must be managed efficiently so that they receive the greatest Return on Ad Spend.
Summary of essential job functions:
Direct PPC experience with Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing. MSN adCenter and other PPC programs a plus
- Keyword Research
- Creating a logical account structure of keywords
- Writing and testing ads
- Optimizing landing pages for search engine quality score
- Bid Management in order to attain an optimal cost per conversion
- Monthly Client Reports
- Weekly Internal Reports
- Maintain relationship with client
- Keep up to date with technology and share information with coworkers
Qualifications:
- Analytical and logical
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Solid ability to listen to and follow directions
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate with clients who do not have our industry knowledge
- Prior experience with PPC a plus but we will train the right candidate!
